The Tenant Advice and Education Service advocates, supports and educates tenants seeking assistance to understand their rights and responsibilities in accordance with the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA).

The Tenant Advice and Education Service is delivered throughout the West and East Pilbara. The service advocates, supports and educates tenants seeking assistance to understand their rights and responsibilities in accordance with the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA).

Outreach services are provided to particularly vulnerable and marginal isolated community groups between the City of Karratha, the Shire of Ashburton, Town of Port Hedland, Warralong Community and Marble Bar.

The Tenant Advice and Education Service helps tenants within the Pilbara to have a better understanding about renting in the private and non-private sector. The aim of the service is to; help resolve issues when the tenant is unsure what they can do, assist tenants to negotiate with lessors, assist tenants to fill out forms, apply to the court and/or represent tenants in court.
